That's not actually what I meant. spoilers:end of spoilers They should just let Cable try to alter some world changing events in the 2030's that directly effect his future, only to have his time jump screwed up and land in the wrong year, 2018 or whenever they set Deadpool 2. At the end of that movie maybe his ship Graymalkin is restored to working condition and he attempts to do what he originally set out to do. Deadpool & friends tag along for whatever reason they come up with. I'd use that to segue into an X-Force movie.
Putting some serious though into in hurt my fricking head. But we know Cable comes from the future. Whatever future that is will be years after Logan. We know that something BAD has to happen to force him to want to go back in time to change the timeline around. Now this is where the comment about him presenting a plot hole comes into play if the X-Force movie really is set in the present. I simply cannot see him coming from the future into the past when Deadpool 2 takes place, to form the X-Force in a present day setting. Only for everything that he accomplishes to lead up to what happens in Logan. He's not stupid enough to let the Westchester incident and Transigen halting the X-gene happen if he has a shot at stopping it. And I doubt the events leading up to Logan will be altered in any way due to time travel because Simon Kinberg is already talking with the studio about what types of movies can be done in a setting post Logan outside of an X-23 solo.
James Mangold gave Ryan Reynolds and Joe Carnahan a gift when it comes to the world building. He set Logan years away from the rest of the continuity. He moved the X-men out of the picture without killing them all so that cameos are still possible. He kept working pieces of the overall continuity and didn't just throw it all away. He gave us a better M-day than in the comics imo which just so happens to be the best playground for a violent team such as the X-Force. Honestly Reynolds and Carnahan don't even have to write much outside of characters. The world has already been set up for them.

I just saw the movie again today, and I'm pretty sure that it says "and including 7 members of the X-Men."
Voice on the radio as Logan is driving from the casino Inaudible________ "casino hotel in Oklahoma city, where at least 400 guests were stricken with temporary paralysis yesterday." "Many are noting a similarity to the Westchester incident over a year ago that left over 600 injured and took the lives of 7 mutants, including several of the X-___" And that's when Logan turns of the radio.
I have the audio front and center.

Hmm, fair enough.
Looks like Logan threw up another $17 million for the weekend. The theater count isn't down all that much, but I can't seem to find information on the actual number of screens it's showing on. I do know it's not getting as many showings, but shows are still selling out (especially at the reserved seating venues).
Exact theater count was 3,687 (Logan) versus 4,210 (Beauty and the Beast). Though then you have to consider how many multiple screens are dedicated to BatB versus Logan now starting to reduce its screen count.
