Saw on Mangold's Twitter that the B&W edit is coming soon. I asked him about a theatrical release of that version and he said "working on it," so we may get to see it on the big screen!
FYI, just saw on Mangold's Twitter confirming a May 23rd release for the Blu-Ray.
That's a QUICK turnaround.
No details yet, but Mangold just confirmed that the Noir version of Logan will screen in theaters on May 16.
Happy birthday to me!
Details released:
Screenings are going to be held at Alamo Drafthouse locations. Which means I can't go because there's SEVENTEEN @#$%ing locations in Texas, but not ONE in St. Louis. The closest to me is in Kansas City, and I can't drive 300 miles on a weeknight.
I'm INCREDIBLY disappointed they're not doing this through one of the theater chains.
Logan is released on Blu-Ray in the U.S. on May 23.
Best Buy has a steelbook release with artwork done by the Old Man Logan artist.
WalMart has a release that comes with 9 posters of Wolverine, one from each movie in the series.
Target has a release that comes with a book of photos from the set of Logan.
I have a $25 Best Buy Gift Certificate that I know how will get used on May 23rd.
Logan Steelbook for sure!
How many of you guys are catching the B&W version in theatres?
