Back when they were about to do Batman Returns, I thought it would have been cool if Elfman and Prince switched roles for the sequel. Have Elfman do the soundtrack and let Prince write the score for the film. It would have been interesting musically to see what each did with the role the other filled in the first film. Alas, it never happened.
Man, heavens gonna have one heck of a jam session going on this year.
"Batdance" will always be my jam.
"Get the funk up!" "Batmaaan!"

First record I ever owned-- first piece in a lifelong career of music geekdom to go along with/the comic nerdery-- was Prince's Party Man. God, remember how good it was as a Batfan to be alive in 1989..? Prince was a big part of that...
Now all these years later and I am the biggest Prince nut walking, wishing that is have made the effort to see him more than one measley, precious time...
