We'll see about that (remember Truth). The whole death thing is totally forced. Why the hell would Superman reject help from Diana? He hasn't tried what she is suggesting.

He doesn't believe there's a cure because the writers have decided that there isn't a cure. I mean... he thinks that not even the gods can do something, but what he really know about what the gods can or can not do about it? Nothing.
It's just forced.

They're just intent on creating the illusion that he's gone for good and that Superdad is the only option and thus the only guy. As more time goes on though its going to turn into basically a terribly kept secret. Hell I think we're almost already there and Rebirth hasn't even started yet.

Just as I kinda guessed. He kept it from her because telling her would sort of cement it in his mind what he was about to lose...Telling the one you love is always going to be the hardest. He's going to show the regret and vulnerability some people said he was missing more than likely with her. They cut it off there...wonder how he'll explain what he said to her in Truth. Tomasi forced their break up imo...so want to see how he'll mop this up.
