Awesome moment from Mighty Thor #10
Awesome moment from Mighty Thor #10
Another week of DC dominating the digital charts with Rebirth, where Mighty Thor is the highest charting Marvel book and manages to chart higher than some new DC Rebirth issues.
EDIT: oops, wrong Thor.

Has Jane Foster as Thor fought Mr. Hyde yet? Back in the Silver Age one of his very first schemes was to force her to accompany him in stealing a submarine as revenge on Donald Blake (with the caveat of tying Blake next to a bomb set to go off in a day if she tried to resist or call for help). He even made her have dinner with him before they set off.

I love Jane as Thor!
I know how Marvel is with the status quo. But recently, they've really been sticking with their changes. If Odinson gets 1610!Mjolnir, I hope Thor keeps Mjolnir.
This is just pure adorable.

It does not bother me what Jane is Thor, but I dislike that Thor has given her his name, and he alone is Odinson now.
If he gets the Ultimate Mjolnir, means Thor will regain his name ??
For me Thor is Thor, not Odinson, with o without Mjolnir
Yes, but this thread is for us to fawn over Jane.
That post would have fit in better in the Thor Odinson appreciation topic - http://community.comicbookresources....R-Appreciation
Thor throws Roxxon island into the sun.
That last page was utterly beautiful. And such a great example of the writer the artist and the colourist working in unity. The weightlessness is contrasted to the scrambling and floating in the previous pages, while here we have a strong determined pose with an unspoken regard and contemplation pointing forwards to the narrative in the final pages and reflected in the dialogue. If it is at all possible to make a hammer look back at somebody and meet their gaze, without resorting to cartooning, then this is how.
