how much did the island weigh? how do Thor's powers work in outer space?
Comics. It is exactly the same as Superman moving a planet or a moon, we assume some kind of force and inertia and we don't think too hard. By that basic comic book logic it does not matter if Thor is in space or not, it's a matter of force and vectors and trying to forget all about conservation of momentum. We all know it just doesn't work, but we know on a narrative level a superhero can try real hard and push things even when not pushing from a platform or without leverage or lacking any propulsion.
In this instance Thor uses an inherently magical method of propulsion. I am guessing she is only able to do so with Mjölnir just as that is how she flies. Before Mjölnir could only move in straight lines and turn under gravity but that is no longer the case.
Steve Epting is doing the art for issues #13 & #14.
Looks great, I love Dauterman's art but some different takes is always good. As long as they are good.
Awesome! I love Epting's art
“Now faith, hope, and love remain, and the greatest of these is love.”--1 Corinthians 13:13
“You had a dream; I have a plan”--Cyclops
“There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes.”--The Doctor
A quick Sketch imagining what Natalie Portman might look like if she was given the role of The Mighty Thor.
I suspect they would allow the eyes more space and frame her in the cape, exposing the neck for a softer look.
Quite a nice story with Jane in ANAD Avengers #15. Really enjoyable. And it features Doom as well which was a cool bonus.

And the original Avengers. Foreshadowing for Avengers #1.1 (which shows that team making way for the Kooky Quartet) and #2 (when the present day Doom joins the Avengers)? Whatever the intention, the flashback does explain why this was in ANAD Avengers and not her solo book.
Jane/Thor (and her ANAD Avenger Teammates) is seen within POWER MAN & IRON FIST #10.
Look who's coming to Avengers Academy!
