Default Hoy can I indicate the current righs owner of Catwoman?

I have a list like this:

First appearance: Batman #1 (National Comics, Spring 1940).
Creators: Bob Kane and Bill Finger.
    Current rights owner: DC Comics.

"Current rights owner:" doesn't sound right to me (English is my second language). Wouldn't that be like "Trademark:" or "Copyright:"?

In that context, it sounds like maybe you could use "Character property of DC Comics" or "Character owned by DC Comics".
"Currently" is unnecessary as character rights hardly ever change ownership. Especially ones owned by DC and Marvel. They're not going anywhere.

Not the ones created by them, but a lot of characters created by other compaties are owned by them now.

The Phantom Lady is a better example.

    First appearance
: Police Comics #1 (Quality Comics, August 1941).
First solo title: Phantom Lady #13 (Fox Features Syndicate, August 1947)
Created by Eisner-Iger Studio, re-designed by Matt Baker
    Current rights owner: DC Comics.

True... but DC and Marvel are like the last stop.
There will never be another company that owns Plastic Man or Phantom Lady.
Even if they never do anything with them ever again, they'll keep them just to prevent competition.

Also, if it's a printed publication you're doing, it'll have a date on it. So even if you omit "current", it's assumed that the information was current at time of printing.
And if it's a website, which can be quickly updated, you can just change it.

"Currently" just doesn't sound right because DC and Marvel don't sell character rights.
Maybe it could be used for smaller companies or individuals... but then to say Mage is "Current rights owner: Matt Wagner", for example, makes people suspect there's a rights problem with Mage or Matt Wagner is in the process of selling the character. Which could spark rumors and snowball from there.
Just have a date somewhere on your website or in the publication and you can leave "current" off.
