I miss Paladin
"We live in a world of cowards. We live in a world full of small minds who are afraid. We are ruled by those who refuse to risk anything of their own. Who guard their over bloated paucities of power with money. With false reasoning. With measured hesitance. With prideful, recalcitrant inaction. With hateful invective. With weapons. F@#K these selfish fools and their prevailing world order." Tony Stark
Cardiac, the most cramped on, but having great potential hero.
El Agula. I had always hoped this guy would get outed as a mutant and join the X-Men with a new name and look.
Nia Noble - another interesting mutant character with mental and aquatic abilities.
Finesse, Striker, Cloud Nine, Trauma, Paladin, the surviving MVP clone, so many
Yeah, definitely the Avengers Academy and Initiative kids. Some were barely more than name-drops, like Melee, or Armory, or showed up so briefly that they might as well have been name-drops, like Red Nine or Gorilla Girl or Telemetry.
I also liked most of the 'Team Gray' Secret Warriors team, led by Mikel Fury, and including Carlos Ayala, Red Webo, Jenny and Malcolm Munroe, etc., which seemed like a vastly more interesting team than the team that survived with the parasitic brain dude and 'Ellis Love' the telepathic/telekinetic. It would be cool to find out that one or both of the Monroe twins used their undefined 'temporal anomaly' powers to get them out of their apparent certain death...
What's Marvel Boy/Justice up to? (kinda wish he'd just convert to Vance Astro) His treatment in the original New Warriors, and in Busiek/Perez's Avengers always struck me as a wasted opportunity to build a new major player in the MU.
