Silver Sable & The Wild Pack #14 Jul 1993
FOR LOVE NOR MONEY: Part 6 of 6: "Unholy Righteousness"
Continued from Cage #16.
Priapus and our heroes are now in a monastery in Italy.
He has Terror, Cage and Silver under a spell where he controls their actions, but not their thoughts.
Terror manages to replace one of his arms, and since Priapus does not control it,
it is able to shoot a lighting fixture over Priapus that crashes down upon him.
When it does, the others are freed from his trance.
As our heroes flee to regroup, Priapus casts a spell over the monks of the monastery and they track the trio.
As they try to incapacitate the monks without killing them, they actually begin working together on a plan.
As Priapus approaches. They know not to look directly at him so as to not fall under his spell again, but Silver accidently does.
Silver slowly approaches Priapus and begins to kiss him.
Then in a swift move, she grabs a noose that Terror had lowered down and flings it across Priapus' neck,
and Terror begins to hoist him up. Cage comes and rips the Tryst from Priapus' chest.
As he does, a large serpent emerges from within Priapus, and promptly devours Priapus.
The serpent turns to our heroes, says, "I bear no grudges,"
grabs the Tryst and disappears.
