Title aside, that album has about as much to do with the '80s as a "Hits of 1925" compilation...

And above all else she's an insufferable Spice Girl-power blowhard. If there's any justice she'll be forgotten in 10 years' time.

It dates the movie big time, at least.

It would be great if Ms. Swift would dress up in the original Dazzler outfit, with the roller skates.

Thats cool. Its not like Dazzler is going to actually matter or be in this movie beyond Easter Egg status so its perfect to get a pop star to portray her.

Why would she appear in an X-men film? Wouldn't she be better off in an MCU flick? People actually like those.

20 years is a pretty respectable career length, in the music industry.

Taylor Swift's music doesn't interest me very much, but I find a reaction like this to be a bit much. Swift, Beyonce, uh, other performers in that vein, (I don't actually listen to the radio very much.) Who cares if they go for that girl power dynamic? What are you suggesting they be replaced with? Something 'real'? That's the kind of thing no one should give a **** about after high school. Ideally, if they wanted to get a head start on growing up, they wouldn't care about it during High school, either. Let people enjoy what they like.

If this is true, it sounds kind of fun, actually. I don't know if she'll be able to act very well, but this is perfect stunt casting.

No. Even if it's a bit part, Fox would promote the **** out of it for the ticket sales and I really don't want to see those ads. Just... no. She can't act. All I'm gonna hear whenever she talks is "this sick beat" and other, hilariously lame things.

She could just be saying it was their favorite Album, before 1989 came out. Like a personal opinion. Or, hinting at the fact their still picking up Records, while CD's are about to go mainstream the following year(s) in the 90's. Just tell us who's playing Cypher, already.

They didn't cast Katniss as Mystique. They cast Mystique as Katniss.
X-Men: First Class predates the Hunger Games films.
