    Default Final Crisis Help

Was planning on buying Final Crisis but I wanted something nicer than the paperback edition, but not as expensive as the absolute edition. Any recommendations, I was thinking of getting the library binding edition but wanted to hear what you guys thought
    Thanks

I've had the hardback version for a few years, and it's worn well with several re-readings...

I've considered getting the absolute version, but it's a lot of cash for not much more than what's already in the hardback, in terms of content. I hope I'll get the absolute version one day though, as I do like the bigger size.

Wwll there's the hardback but the Absolute and tpb version both have extra issues that add a lot to the story (some would call them essential) so I'd go for one of those.

Yep, unless you've already got them separately! (which I have). That's my main beef about forking out for the Absolute! :-)

If it helps your decision, hamiltonbook.com has the Absolute for $30.

    I just checked on Amazon.co.uk and it's still £63.56 which = $92.86. So yeah, $30 is a great deal

I got mine in September for like £36-40, Is it going oop?
Also, warning for Europeans: as far as I know the Titan edition of the regular hc doesn't have the Superman beyond issues.
Another reason for the absolute is that it includes the Batman issues and those are only in the new tpb IIRC.

I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, in this case quite literally, but I don't like the Darkseid 'blueish' cover of the Absolute... I much prefer the Bats/Supes dark red cover of the standard hardback. Just an opinion

On the Absolute the slipcase and cover itself have the Darkseid pic but the dust jacket has the same red-ish Supes/Batman pic you prefer.

Have any of the collections had the 3D for Superman Beyond?
Patsy Walker on TV! Patsy Walker in new comics! Patsy Walker in your brain! And Jessica Jones is the new Nancy! (Oh, and read the Comics Cube.)

Another option is if you've held out this long, I'm sure a Deluxe isn't too far away. It is Morrison after all.

I have an old, but not so old the prescription is bad, pair of glasses I tethered some 3D glasses to with bread ties. It's inelegant, but I'm not wearing them to work. Outside of actually getting a pair made with appropriately colored lenses (which I did once, because the shop was having a sale and would do and I figured, when else?), it's the best solution I've found.
