so is this an alternate introduction for Killer Croc, out of traditional canon? Or even some other all new character?

Given Ennis' disdain for traditional superhero sagas, I wonder how deconstructed this is going to be? We'll have to see...

It's marvelous to see how Sharp evolved his style to some cross between Glenn Fabry and John Van Fleet.

Looking forward to the mystery of new sewer crocodile who nom noms pop celeb villains of Gotham. Premise is fresh unlike the current Bat-books.

Count me in to trade-wait. Looks really interesting.
Comics were definitely happier, breezier and more confident in their own strengths before Hollywood and the Internet turned the business of writing superhero stories into the production of low budget storyboards or, worse, into conformist, fruitless attempts to impress or entertain a small group of people who appear to hate comics and their creators. -- Grant Morrison, 2008

Well the art looks interesting but its written by Garth Ennis which makes this not only a "No" from me but a "Hell no kill it with fire, burn it to ash and send the ash to space so it may be obliterated by a black hole."

I guess if Garth Ennis were to do a book about any DC hero, it would probably be Batman.

Definitely gonna check out the reviews before I buy, but the art and premise is good so count me in as intrigued!

Just wait and watch it be Reptile from Mortal Kombat, that’s the real monster who can take on Batman

At the very least the artwork will be good.

With Ennis though, there will most likely be some cringe worthy stuff
