Default Cover Contest May 4th - May 10th: YOU DON'T SEE THIS ON THE INSIDE

This is a theme I wanted to use for quite a long time

You don't see this on the inside

You know the theme, tricky covers, the kind that tells you one thing that does not happen in the story.

Hulk doesn't punch and decapitate a remote controlled armor in a panel.

It would be great if you state the cover impression, and why it's wrong.

    Cover Contest Weekly Posted Rules:

    • Post one (and only one) cover that fits the theme of this week's contest.
    • Cover must be from a published comic book or collected volume.
    • Covers must be posted before voting begins.
    • Voting begins 12 AM Tuesday and runs until 12 AM Wednesday PST.
    • Vote by posting the name in bold of the poster whose cover best fits the theme or that you simply like the most.
    • The winner of the contest is the entrant with the most votes after the voting period.
    • It's okay to discuss the covers but if you think someone's entry doesn't fit the theme or violates the rules, you don't need to argue it in the thread, simply don't vote for it.
    • Most importantly please remember that we're here to have fun. Enjoy!

A cover for Flash # 50. Promotes the film rather than anything in the comic:

While they did reluctantly work together, it wasn't anything like this:

    A bat! That's it! It's an omen.. I'll shall become a bat!

Changed my mind. I will be posting a far more misleading cover.

(Sadly) David did not sit for a portrait in this issue.

"Victory and Death!"?? HA! This cover represents the exact opposite of the turn of events in this issue: The Outsiders fairly handily defeat the New Olympians.

Like, what is it with that FF book and "doesn't happen in this issue"?

That being said, only one of us was going to post this cover...

And it's sure won't be me!
