I still don't know in that Apocalypse Wars cover if the one with wings is supposed to be Captain Sam or Archangel.

I mean obviously it is supposed to be Captain Sam, but it just looks too weird.

Why not? I mean, yes, Janet's great but this new character could be an interesting addition to the MU.

Looks good. Always enjoyed the Wasp, certain the new 'Wasp' will also be of interest as well. Can't wait to see the full issue

Synergy? Going all out on legacy/teen heroes? They barely ever care about Janet so why not create a Wasp they'll actually promote and use consistently ?

It will bring in millions of 12 year old readers. Most people think that age group are avoiding comics because of video games, youtube and apps. Nope, they just can't relate to Janet Van Dyne.

It will bring in millions of Russian readers. Most people think that citizenship group are avoiding comics because of communism. Nope, they just can't relate to Janet Van Dyne.
“If you want to really see a road map of where our movies will be (going) in the next five, 10 or 20 years, read the comics,” says Joe Quesada, Marvel’s chief creative officer. “Because they’re almost always a precursor to what’s on the horizon in our cinematic universe and our television universes.”

because of legacy and its importance in comic books. there's a new Wasp because the original is worthy of a legacy.

she should be easier to promote since she doesn't come with any baggage. plus, she empowered herself/has an easy to explain skillset.

You joke, but everyone knows how influential comics can be. The Spider-Marriage alone took the lives and sanity of many, they had no choice but to end it.

I'm not joking. I probably know more about communism than you, just saying.
