Pretty cool news. Loved BvS and looking forward to how things shape up for JL. More Ben involvement is a good thing.

Though honestly I would be interested in seeing Kevin take a crack at a superhero movie from either side of the pond, even if I haven't been too impressed at all by his recent output as far as his films go.

When your last project was roasted by the critics, go with a critically praised Oscar winner to try to salvage your franchise. While some movies he has starred in have been stinkers, when he is in control Ben knows how to make a movie that both critics and the audience love. I think the DCEU would be better off if WB puts him in charge of their franchise.

Yup. I think this is great news actually. Glad to see Ben so invested.

Ben knows his knows his stuff and did Argo and The Town for WB. Add that he's directing, starring and writing his own Batman movie; I this is the best news we could hear for the project next to George Miller taking over directing for Snyder.

I agree with this -- I definitely think his taking a larger role is a good move.

If he can find that old Clerks magic I think he could write a good Bwahahaha JLI film. Booster, Ted, Guy, Fire, Ice. I'd want someone else brought on to handle the visuals and direct the action scenes though.

This is kind of Meta. I can imagine Ben responding to how come he's also an executive producer..... "Because I'm Batman...".

Hopefully this will rein in Snyder. I really hope they give Ben a lot of creative control as he's a light years ahead of Snyder as far as directing and story telling.
