    I voted other.

In my opinion asking for a favourite Dan Slott story is like asking for a favourite flavour of vomit.

I voted for Superior Spiderman. To me Superior Spiderman was a breath of fresh air injected into Spiderman which hadn't really been felt since the JMS era. Honestly though I have enjoyed much of Slott's work since he has taken over writing duties full-time but will admit after Superior Spiderman has ended, to me his writing has been rather lackluster.

I like New ways to die too.
I love New Ways to Die, I own the story on Hardcover, but I absolutely do not like JRJr art at all in the whole volume. I will never understand the appeal of his current art, it is very sloppy/muddy.

But....

I have to say that "Dying Wish/Superior" was even better; it is definitely among the most ambitious (and left-field) ideas ever attempted in Spidey's history and was executed extremely well; hardly anyone I know would not point to those first 12-15 issues of Superior and gripe. It was a fun---and unexpected----ride; there were problems and it required a larger than usual suspension of disbelief but, considering the scope of the work, it was pretty damn impressive.

I suspect "Renew Your Vows" will get a lot of votes and I like that quite a bit also but I gotta go with "Dying Wish/Superior".
Renew your vows was the first Spiderman story in awhile that I read to have a lot of emotional weight too it. It was probably also one of the very few Secret Wars minis that was worth reading as well.

All of Dan Slott's work was really good, prior to the lackluster ending of Superior Spider-Man. It's been pretty downhill from there, IMO. Especially the two sucky rebooted volumes of ASM that followed Superior Spider-Man. Renew Your Vows has been the only bright spot post Superior Spider-Man, IMO.

I loved Spider-Island when I didn't expect it to be good at all, but Ends of the Earth gets my vote. The James Bond-style stuff was a treat, seeing Spidey boss around The Avengers was cool to see, and all the battles with the Sinister Six were fun. As a Doctor Octopus story, it's one of the best.

I am not a Slott fan, but he knows Doc Ock, and writes him real well so I like stories with him in it. RYV was really good, but I imagine it's a little easier to write that story because of what came before.

Dying Wish/ Superior Spider-Man is my favorite story over all.
