    Default Question about Steve Rogers

I was reading through the wikia and I have a problem, any help would be appreciated.
So, as I understand it when Sam Wilson became Capt. Steven Rogers had become an old man and wasn't a super soldier because the serum was neutralized. In 'time runs out' he confronts Tony then, as an old man? In 'Assault on Pleasant Hill' when he is promoted to the new Chief of Civilian Oversight for S.H.I.E.L.D, is he a super solider or does he become a super soldier when Kobik makes him young again? My main problem is, when does Steve Rogers's serum activate again? Thanks for any replies!

Yes he's still old when fighting Tony.
Kobik reactivates it during Pleasant Hill.

the serum doesn't exactly 'reactivate' when Kobik makes him young again. It's more like she warps reality to make him young again.

If you're asking why even without the serum, he's able to physically fight well an old man, there really is no good answer.

He shouldn't be able to, in fact initially he was feeble and could barely function, but someone, somewhere decided it be better to utilize him actively, and thus a continuity error was born.

The only answer that makes sense is that Steve is just that damn determined and stubborn that he wasn't gonna let old age stop him. Once he got used to it, he started training up again as much as he could push himself and thus we got badass Old Man Steve Rogers.

When he's fighting Tony he has his armor on.

He should actually be dead without the serum, but oh well.

This story could have been told in the 70s/80s, but not now.

This is just silly. It constrains future story telling. Rememder's problem was that he didn't spout some technobabble to justify the story.

the problem was having the serum being removed and making him an old man flies in the face of it having been removed and him being fine at least twice before.

Technically Steve Rogers is old enough to be in the age group of Magneto's father, right? And who is older...Wolverine, Rogers, or Sinister? Well...Sinister is definitely older but between Wolverine and Steve Rogers?

Wolverine is older than Steve, Wolverine was born roughly 1890, Steve was born in 1920's
