So much love for this series. Every issue just makes me love Kamala more and more. This issue was no exception. That moment with her and her father was very sweet and a nice insight into her family. It seems as though there never any characters who actually come from loving, caring families with good, caring parents. When did it become a prerequisite that every character have serious parenting issues? I like that Kamala breaks that mold. She didn't need anyone in her family to die to become a hero. She didn't need any tension or tragedy. She just needed to be a genuinely good girl with a genuinely good family. That shouldn't be a novel concept, but it is. I also really like the role Bruno is playing, almost sort of like an Alfred or a Jarvis. Didn't really care for her "villain" though. This Inventor guy doesn't strike me as all that compelling, but I'm willing to give it a few issues. There's certainly plenty to love about this series and it's by far my favorite new Marvel series in a long time.
