Another great issue. I loved it.
It will be interesting to see what Shredder will do in the future. Thats pretty much the biggest development of Shredder in any incarnation of the Turtles.

"So you've come to the end now alive but dead inside."
This series is one of the most consistent series being written today. I LOVE it as well, definitely in my top of the read pile when it comes out. I read 100 & 101 before I did Immortal Hulk.......and that is saying something.
AKA FlashFreak
Favorite Characters:
DC: The Flash (Jay & Wally), Starman- Jack Knight, Stargirl, & Shazam!.
MARVEL: Daredevil, Spider-Man (Peter Parker), & Doctor Strange.
Current Pulls: Not a thing!
I like the 6mo jump.
I don't like how the brothers have become disjointed. How Jenny is on her own, they are at least Mikey should be there for her.
I do like the Alopex angle. Curious to see more on how the Mutanimals have become crazed "secret police" of the area.
"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime
Oh my....Scott Campbell is out, Issue 105 will be the last issue...ever? It definitely sounded like that at Newsarama (or was it Bleedingcool?), but I can't imagine that it will stop just like that.
No just for her work on the series arc
lol, good to know. I misunderstood that.
Still sad, she was good. Sophie...not Scott
Sophie Campbell isn't finished on TMNT, according to Campbell she has been asked to pause her work after issue #105.

Happy Father's Day Turtles (and Splinter) fans!
Teenage (not)Mutant Ninja Bear:
Sorry for the incursion.

Batman's world isn't realistic. It's grounded in psychological realism… In real life, Batman's crusade would be a horrible idea.[…] But in the world Batman inhabits, it not only makes sense, it's absolutely the right thing to do.
Just read #105. Kind of a low-key landmark issue. I don't have an individual comment for every little dynamic. Just a statement.
Sophie Campbell fucking rips.
Retro315 no more. Anonymity is so 2005.

I'm not a fan of Campbell's writing on TMNT so far unfortunately. Her dialogue seems amateurish compared to other writers like Waltz, Eastman or Flynn and she relies too much on emotional moments over developing the plot. And Mutant Town looks set to add even more characters which makes the Turtles seem more like supporting characters in their own title. The artwork is gorgeous though. I'll hang on for another arc or 2 before I decide whether I want to drop this series.
