Got caught up some this weekend.

TMNT #43 - Really enjoyed the seemingly all battle on multiple fronts that this issue had going on. Especially the Shredder vs Krang but the Stockman vs Fugitoid and then later Stockman vs Turtles with his Flybots. I'm guessing that Nobody and/or Casey show up to help Donnie out in #44 after that last command by Shredder.

Mutanimals #1 - So, I've not yet started watching the NickToons iteration of TMNT but know it's well liked and I have each of the action figures. So I know Mutagen Man got his start there. I question what his containment apparatus is made of and how well he handles in a fight? Seems a well placed blade or random bullet would be enough to take him down...living in a glass house and all, or is it something much more durable? Curious as to where and how the loyalties of the scientist(whose name escapes me right now) will go. I mean she's literally a hostage and I don't view her as full blown Stockholm Syndrome as evidenced by this issue and her willingness to listen to her old girlfriend who in turns works for the Foot by Proxy. Very curious to see where this issue goes. I've found my attitude about Hob shifting a lot the last year of this story. Early on he was easy to loathe, now he seems more gray, a bit more Punisher-lite in cases.

Busy week and finally got to reading Mutanimals. No surprise it reads great. Poor Mutagen Man. I want to give him hug. I'm not sure he can hug though.

Oh man, this is one of those times I wish I wasn't right about where a storyline was going. This issue hit me right in the feels, hard.

That would have overtones of the Image run for this character if I recall, yes?
If I'm recalling correctly then IDW really is doing quite the job pulling from all corners of TMNT publishing legacy!
