Read TMNT #72 over the weekend that wrapped up the Pantheon gathering at Toad Barron's house.
Other than give us a broader sense of who they are(which is essentially what the Turtles were going, recon) this was a largely uneventful arc. Probably my least favorite in recent memory as I've felt the title clips along at a solid pace even when the action is slow.

Next month is exciting cause the IDW title becomes the longest running TMNT ever!!
    Trial of Krang sounds promising!

Yeah the Pantheon arc was really lackluster. I'd agree that it's my least favorite, maybe of the whole book. But Trial of Krang is going to be awesome. As will Dimension X.

The major part is the Pantheon's father.... the Dragon. More of that to come. But yeah that arc was dull.

We are halfway through the weekly TMNT: Dimension X story, thoughts?

I find it interesting and fun. Nothing ground shaking but I don't suspect it's meant to be. The major revelations are going to happen in the main TMNT book.
I did enjoy #2 with the big green blind alien living in symbiotic harmony with the "eye" alien. Sorry, can't recall their names atm.

    Also, TMNT/Usagi Yojimbo One-Shot
It was fun but I see why I'm not into the Yojimbo book. The occasional crossover, sure, nice to see you Usagi, he's just not for me.

Decided to pass on Dimension X... although I do think it's cool that it'll give backstories to the new characters involved in the main book. That arc, the trial, is something I'm looking forward to and the first issue of that was very good.

Actually,I found the Pantheon arc pretty interesting. It made them interesting again, introduced new Pantheon members and opened up a lot of possibilities for future stories.

TMNT #74 - Good read for Trial of Krang pt.2. A bit disappointed to see the prosecutions case falling apart with the initial witnesses our Brothers saved in the Dimension X mini-series. I'm already very curious to see what role Ace Duck is going to have coming out of this Dimension X/Trial arc as he's a character I always liked from the Archie days.

Yeah that trial really fell apart quickly. I was surprised at first, but then when I learned the arc was only 3 issues long and the next issue would be the conclusion, it made more sense. Giant Sized 75!

You should start with IDWs first collected hardcover edition volume 1.

And since a lot of people have complained about that, yes,IDW series seems a bit slow at first, but stick around. At least until Secret History of The Foot Clan.
