Curt Swan is the greatest Superman artist. Sure some artists might have been better artists. But to me, swan defines what Superman looks like.

No one else comes close to me to being #1, and “Frank quietly Superman” is one of the first result when you search his name in Google.
Love Kuder’s portrayal of the dynamism of Superman, making him my #2. His Supes is just so joyful and kinetic.
#3 has got to be Jimenez. His Supes is just so powerful yet also so loving. Best guy for portraying Superman’s warmth imo.
Father-son superman punch, was the best fun moment i had reading superman till date. Jorge Jimenez is one of the best artist i feel that gets jon kent in a meaningful way.The kid should be an expressive ball of energy that jumps around and causes mischeif
My pick, Curt Swan.

Even though that "Zero Hour" piece is by Bog & Janke, I see they paid homage to several different Superman artists (and a few more than once).

Not sure if the site allows links to other content, but these guys break down Alan Moore's comics like nobody else. This video has a terrific discussion on the subtle power of Curt Swan. Highly recommend the Channel.
Curt Swan, Phil Jimenez, Gary Frank, and Leinil Yu.
Those Adam Hughes covers make me want to toss his name in the ring for consideration. He does a magnificent and dynamic Superman that doesn't have the cheekiness his WW cover art did.

To echo the sentiments of many others, it's gotta be Curt Swan. Not only was he incredibly prolific with the character, but something about his Superman just screams definitive to me.
Honorable mention to Jose Luis Garcia Lopez

People say the same about Boring and Swan, guess it's a minnesota thing lol
But seriously it's an underrated style, with all of that consistency and ability to adapt to different inks.

If I could pick an art team it would be John Byrne with Terry Austin on inks. Byrne is the greatest superhero artist of all time, he just screams four color fun.
I was surprised how much I liked Jurgens art and writing on Superman when he came back for the New 52 actually, I missed the whole 90's but I have learned to like/love Byrne, Jurgens, and Ordway. Ordway and Rags Morales remind me of each other.
I couldn't say who is the greatest of all time but I can list my favorites:
John Byrne
Neal Adams
Jose Luis Garcia Lopez
Jerry Ordway
Dan Jurgens
Kerry Gamill
Curt Swan
Eduardo Barreto
