8)A new Star-Lord or Star-Lady (preferably the son/daughter of Star-Lord and Kitty Pryde)

I'm thinking of it as Star Wars meets Marvel meets Game of Thrones book. The dynamic between of the team would be akin to the GotG and the scope would be similar to Star Wars but i'd also add some GoT elements such as the fierce war between the houses and the violence. Here's a summary to make you understand:

The year is 2099. Heroes have vanished and empires have collapsed. Odin is dead and a war between the Asgardians and the Inhumans has almost destroyed the universe. Only a few alien empires still stand and most are pawns at the hands of Thor and Black Bolt. Mutants have become extinct and a only a handful remain, trying to reignite the spark. Admist all this chaos Doom rose to power and with the Nova Corps' help, he rules the Milky Way galaxy with an iron fist. Meanwhile, the Silver Surfer, the only Herald to remain alive (according to sources, since some believe that Galactus was not destroyed in the Phoenix war) is trying to assemble a team of like minded individuals to bring the Empire down, finish the Great War and restore peace to the universe.

I'm working on a series of stop-motions regarding this project to be exact.

THE COOL PEOPLE WITH OVERTLY COMPLICATED BACKSTORIES SUPERHERO GROUP!!

Rachel Grey - daughter of Cyclops and the Phoenix masquerading as Jean Grey from the posapocalyptic future of an alternative timeline.

Kaine the Scarlet Spider, grumpy, brutal and ill-mannered first clone of Spider-man who, because of faults in the cloning process, looks like an older, more muscular Peter (and was constantly on the verge of dying and becoming insaner until Peter cured him). Died and revived a few times, the last time by the Other, the spider spirit totem, so he can now transform into a spider monster.

And his partner, Hummingbird (Aracely Penalba), Mexican girl who doesn't remember her past and is a possible reincarnation of the Aztec God Huitzilopochtli, who apparently has a complicated backstory already as he was born two times - first as a fleshless skeleton and then from the union of an Earth goddess and a ball of feathers.

Blink from Exiles. Recently made famous by the X-men: Days of Future Past movie.

Thunderbolts

Agent Venom - would be placed on the team to keep an eye on the rest of the team and act as a contingency in the event they were to start slipping back into old habits

Songbird - team leader; discreetly informed to keep an eye on Venom as a preventive measure in the event Flash succumb the symbiote's influence and lose control of it.

MACH VII - co-leader along with Songbird; would initially take a back seat on field ops to fill the void left behind by Fixer and help maintain the team's equipment. Would also be privy to Songbird's orders about Venom and be in charge of designing other contingencies to deal with him and the other Thunderbolts in the event they go rogue.

Ghost - more or less do the same thing he's always done though probably with a little more freedom

Red Hulk - assigned to the team under Songbird and MACH VII as additional muscle to replace Juggernaut; similarly would be under heavy watch due to the nature of his powers and identity

Blizzard (Donnie Gill) - upgrade armor to include elements of both his original costume and armor from the Mandarin arc

Lizard (Curt Connors) - lizard body while retraining Connors’ intellect

Shocker - upgrade costume to power armor

Taskmaster - could go back to acting as a combat instructor for the Thunderbolts and training the less combat oriented members of the team.

Sandman - advance powers to include creation and manipulation of glass if he can't already do it and make Hydro-Man one of his primary villains
