Why did you have to remind me that Wieringo is gone?
Can't say I was a huge fan of Cooke's but I did enjoy his style enough to pick up the odd TPB here and there. I recall reading somewhere last year in an interview that he was wanting to use his style to tell more mature stories and not the retro stories that DC seemed to want him to do and remember thinking how Powers might have been a good fit.
