Hm. I don’t remember him saying anything along these lines as being the ‘main reason’ he cast Gal. I do recall he really appreciated that she could hold her own, acting wise, with Ben.

London. That's actually the Old Bailey (a famous courthouse in London) that she's standing on (or more specifically, the statue of Lady Justice that's on top of it).

I'm loving how Diana looks like she's becoming the European representative for the DCEU right now. She lives and works in Paris. She's appearing in London. Her culture hails from Europe anyway, so it's a really good idea to really capitalize on that.

Hmmm. Come to think of it? Maybe that scene where she's fighting the terrorists is at or near the Old Bailey? Maybe her standing on the statue is either after, or just before, that fight? Those school kids being rounded up looked like they might be kinda British school uniforms, right?

Maybe she's standing on Lady Justice after the fight as kind of a victory pose, or she could be standing there before the attack happens and that's how she notices the attack.

Hasn't flown in BvS, her movie or in any of the trailers I have seen for the upcoming Justice League.

As much as I want her to fly, she apparently can't. So, maybe she did a wonderleap ala Lynda Carter's show, or she used her lasso to hoist herself up onto the statue.

Well she's already familiar with London to a degree, having visited it first during WWI.
