I'm on board with this. collapsing Hela and Death into a single character makes waaay more sense for the MCU. likewise the Enchantress and Hela have fairly similar power-sets. although it SHOULD be fairly easy for people to distinguish between the Enchantress in Suicide Squad from the Marvel version-- by going directly to Hela they can bypass the casual movie-goers complaining that they copied from DC. (and even though the Marvel character came first, the average movie-goer won't know this or care).

on top of all that, it could make Thanos more interesting because the audience can already be familiar with who he's infatuated with. sounds like a win-win scenario to me. (unless you're a fan of Death or the Enchantress... and well, there ya go)

I actually wouldn't mind this, but Thanos better stop screwing with Hela's dad. Not sure he could handle the father-in-law.

The people who have argued that always looked silly to me. Maybe it's being blinded by the MCU putting so much of the comic books onscreen, but they still change things and take liberties with the source material all the damn time (and that's no a bad thing).

Yeah, and I really have to wonder why, especially when Loki still uses his for battle scenes.

It's not like it covers up Hemsworth's face anymore then Cap's mask does, but I guess if it's very uncomfortable for Hemwsowrth to wear or move around with it on, I could understand why they've been foregoing it for so long.
