Default Green Hornet (by Mark Waid) #13

I loved this series but definitely felt Waid had more ideas. I felt this issue was written just to wrap up the book.

I wasn't able to get this today . . . the shop I stopped in told me they only ordered enough copies for the one or two people who pre-ordered it. (Evidently, it wasn't selling very well off the stands there, and I don't regularly go to this store. )

Ah, the end of Waid's Green Hornet is upon us and all I can do is quietly weep and pray to the stars that Dynamite will produce another Green Hornet series sometime down the road. Waid's Green Hornet along with Wagner's Green Hornet: Year One were fantastic pulp offerings that truly defined the character in my eyes, I'll always be thankful for these books and will go back to read them as often as I can.

I just wish it didn't have to end.

It wouldn't have had to end if more people actually bought them.

Not enough readers left interested in the pulp characters.

These numbers although sad convince me to support this title in trade. It wasn't disinterest on my part but budget.
