I like it better than the comic (and I'm a HUGE Ennis fan).

About halfway through the comics, I found Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy so unlikable that I actually found myself rooting for Herr Starr/Saint of Killers.

I found tv!Jesse to be one of the most unlikable characters I ran into in years.

That's actually been my main grumble. The guy is almost the polar opposite of "Comics" Jesse.

    I am. Totally unimpressed.

At this point, we are talking roughly eighty-five percent "Rogan & Buddy"/"Breaking Bad Homie" just made up out of thin air.

Yeah its so far divorced from what little I have read of the comic (I'm just through grandma's house) that it pisses me off. I refuse to read anymore till the series is done. Don't want to be comparing the two anymore.

    I enjoy some of it.

The redrawn stuff with the angels.

    Eugene in hell.

    Those are great.

I feel that way about TV Tullip.
I like the show more than I like the characters. I don't care if Jesse finds God.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

    She does not help.

They keep repeating "Til The End Of The World", and I can't come up with one reason why.

no worries, I get the same visceral response to game of thrones (aka where no deed goes unpunished, the characters that are likable suffer horribly and the plot is predictable).

So far Cassidy I'm rooting for, but I know it's only a matter of time before something sets off the plot, but hoping that that part is revised.

I'll watch Season 2 after I somehow endure Lucifer Season 2. By then I'll probably be much more tolerant of changes in Preacher...unless they cowardly tone down judeo-christian parts like the Grail.

No toning down at all on that front.

Yeah, when Hitler is the only character you care about, there's a problem.

    Wait, really?

I just want every person in Hell in a room with Pinhead, like yesterday.
