How would you do a YJ comic now that Rebirth is happening
Young Justice and Ultimate Spider-man were what got me into reading comics in the early 2000s, so I'm in support of this.
The artist formerly known as OrpheusTelos.
Both YJs were about defying the adults(JL) and doing what they wanted (sticking together and making the team),so even though one was mostly about humor and the other was mostly dead serious doesnt mean they didnt have things in common.
I am a fan of both as both are really awesome.
TBH a new YJ should be damian wayne and his generation but that was folded into the new TT and the Super-sons. To use Tim's generation is tricky because they dont really have a place in btw Dick and Damian's groups but maybe have them strike out on their own.
Like a superhero startup or a JL-led team like the show could work.
Absolutely. I'd go with YJ being a “teen adjunct” to the Justice League as per Weisman's YJ, with the kids being friends who like to hang out together as per PAD's YJ. Initial roster: Red Robin (Tim Drake), Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark), Aqualad (Jackson Hyde), and Miss Martian (M'gan M'orzz). Quickly add five more in early storylines that also serve to introduce the new characters to the current continuity:
• Scion (Kon-El): clone of Superman and Luthor, with all powers derived from Tactile Telekinesis.
• Impulse (Bart Allen): son of Don Allen and Melanie Thawn, from the 31st century; may or may not be a descendant of Barry Allen, but probably is.
• Arrowette (Mia Dearden): streetwise kid that Oliver Queen rescued from the streets.
• Secret (Greta Hayes): the League doesn't know about her.
• Penance (Billy Hayes): Greta's brother and murderer, now an Indigo Tribesman.

I like it.
Ive been trying to figure out which way i would want a new YJ book to go,but i think.you.need to pull equally.from both the book.and thentv show.to.get.it right.i.would love to read ppls ideas for.this.
Ive been doing the same.with a new kon, either fun hero like.kesels kon or super.serious covert hero like the show.
I'd also consider introducing a new Wonder Girl in Damian's age group: a young Amazon who's innocent to the ways of Man's World, patterned loosely off of WW’77's Drucilla. Cassie, who never liked the Wonder Girl moniker in the first place, would change to Olympia. Note that I also changed Mia's codename to Arrowette: Cissie King-Jones isn't using it, and I want to co-opt Speedy for Emiko Queen; see below.
This new Wonder Girl wouldn't be in YJ; she'd be a friend of Damian, Jon, Emiko, and Wally Jr. (Robin, Superboy, Speedy, and Kid Flash). “Super Sons” would no longer be appropriate; call them the Fast Friends, maybe? The Fast Friends would ideally capture the quirky, youthful humor of Peter David's Young Justice.

I'm happy to see my favorite Aqualad back in DC Comics.
It's just a shame it will probably take a while to see comic Aqualad develope to the same point as the tv show Aqualad, who had defeated his father and was one of the highest ranking members of the Young Justice team.
