AMC's "Preacher" Debuts to Modest Ratings

Well they have already done a deal with Amazon. Here in the UK that is the only way to watch it. It would seem unlikely that they would switch to Netflix in another territory when they have existing agreements with a competitor.

P.S. I did enjoy the episode, really liked the cast, all-in-all I would be surprised if it doesn't find an audience. The various rating websites seem split, some saying the ratings were promising and some suggesting they were modest. No one is calling it a failure yet, so let's see if the eventual second episode gets a jump through the repeat showing, the Talking Preacher special, and word of mouth, before we call it dead.

Unfortunately, I was on a camping trip this weekend, so I missed it.

Hopefully, AMC will show the first episode again soon.

I think there's going to be an encore showing this Sunday (followed by a discussion show, hosted by Chris Hardwicke).

Never read the series but I know what happens. Don't like Rogen but I do like Dominic Cooper.

All that aside, I don't think the premiere got interesting till the last 20 minutes or so. I'll give it another episode for now.
