    Default Nick-names for the other incarnations of Superman?

    Yeah, we've got Nuperman and Superdad in pretty wide circulation here, while describing two of versions of Comic-book Superman, but we've got a couple of other versions, so we might as well keep at it, to be consistent at the very least.

    So - what nick-names could we use to discern the other Super-man variants?

    I suggest NewS for New Super-man - as there is already a Super-Man from back in the pre-Superman days - the psychic mad bald scientist from that short-story - quite possibly the first incarnation of Superman.

    Perhaps SAperman for Silver Age Superman?

    Super-Atomic for the crazy sort of Atomic-age Superman? The one that wants to marry his cousin, can sneeze out an entire galaxy, and is just darn hard to actually reconcile with the Golden Age and regular Silver Age variations on the character.

    Bronzeman, or Man of Bronze seems like a good name for Bronze-Age Superman.

    Any other ideas?

    I tend to use a universe designation

    P52 SM = pre 52 Superman
    N52 SM= New52 Superman

    E22SM = Earth 22 Superman
    E2SM = Earth 2 Superman

    There are many pre-52 Supermen. Many different origin reboots, and power sets, and histories, Krypton's, jobs, even different characterizations of personality.
    Jerry Siegel/Joe Shuster, Bill Finger/Bob Kane/Gardner Fox/Sheldon Moldoff/Jerry Robinson, William Moulton Marston under the pen name Charles Moulton/Harry Peter. Creators of the most enduring iconic archetypes of the comic book superhero genre. The creators early Golden Age versions should be preserved. The early Golden Age mythology by the creators are as close to the proper, correct authentic versions as there is.
