Steve and Bucky relationship is more Brotherly than anything.
Steve and Bucky relationship is more Brotherly than anything.
What fans "demand" creators to do with their intellectual property rarely warrants attention.
This is not one of those times.

Two men talk to each other the
the internet "OMG they are gay"
Two women talk to each other
the internet "OMG they are gay"
sigh.
Well, Steve and Bucky did have more chemistry than the forced pairing and hella awkward kiss of Steve and Sharon.
Obviously the people demanding a Steve/Bucky romantic pairing are just flagrant racist bigots.
Otherwise they'd be pushing for a Steve/T'Challa romance.
I mean, did you see the way they looked in each others eyes in that last scene. And in the car in Berlin. I had goose bumps!
Vibranium nails down that back. Mee-ow!

If ten years of recording The Young and the Restless for my mother have taught me anything, it's that characters in serial dramas are always happily in love...until they're not

The internet is fucking stupid. The End.

I'm for it.
It'd be amusing to see the internet break if it were to happen.
Steve's had more romantic tension with Bucky and Falcon than he has had with Sharon so far.
Even Peggy has had more romantic tension with ladies (like Dottie) in her series.
About the only lady Steve's had real romantic tension with was Peggy and the same was true for her with Steve. XD
If they want a gay character, why not Wanda?
Im on team give cap a boyfriend.
Sharon Carter is a boring love interest, Marvel are literally saying it's less weird for Cap to be banging the niece of his dead almost girlfriend than for him to be dating a guy. The Sharon Carter kiss in Civil War felt like a studio note to quell Bucky/Cap shippers.
The MCU needs more diversity, Civil War is a straight white sausage fest. There diversity was literally 3 black guys, two women, a drone and a bloody robot. And only Widow and Panther are non-American. Vision's a robot and he was born in the US.
Cap's love life is such a non issue storyline, that if they just made Bucky his boyfriend NOTHING would change but he'd be a role model for young LGBT viewers. He's gay and he's Captain America and it's not a big deal. That, ironically, would be a huge deal to a minority audience.
I mean, you could give Cap a boyfriend in Falcon but they are much more a bromance, Bucky is obviously something more to Steve.
You can scream SJW all you want, but these movies lack diversity (they're better than DC but that's literally saying nothing).
Rather Bucky get with Black Widow like the comics where they had a past together.
It worked better in the comic universe's where Peggy was a fairly minor part of Cap's life and Sharon long since overshadowed her because of her amount of page time.
Here in the MCU we have all sorts of stuff featuring Peggy and her movie interaction with Steve is still pretty huge even if from his perspective it was only the First Avenger film (especially if you didn't watch any of Agent Carter to get more of an impression of Peggy).
So yeah, plenty of folks found the Steve Sharon kiss in the film awkward as all heck.
Please, they have no chemistry. She was basically spying on him in the first movie, and in the second movie she's the niece of his dead love interest. That's super creepy.
Whatever their comic relationship is meant to be, it hasn't translated very well. She's completely forgettable.
They don't seem to want to do Widow's past at all, which sucks.
