This sounds crazy, and I need to know--Did Jack Flag have his boombox?
I'm sure this will last at least as long and have as much of an impact as Superman Red and Superman Blue did years ago...
I know this will get retconed immediately, but its still really piasing me off.
And I like Rick Flag, so if he really is dead, I'm gonna be mad.
Cyclops was right
It sounds like it's a literal in story retcon so yeah it'll be done and gone by the end of the arc presumably.
Presumably whatever cosmic cube shenanigans mentioned in the article changed Cap's personal history on a microlevel or made him think they did etc...
Sounds fairly typical.
The likeliest thing seems to be that Red Skull is messing with Cap's head. Alternatively, this is the real deal and Marvel are throwing years of continuity to the wind.
Can't say I'm interested either way.
After 80 years of fighting Hydra (give or take 3 decades off in the ice) he suddenly remembers that they were his team all along. Yeah, that's a great plot that will surely stick around for the ages. How about Captain Werwolf of the Wehrmacht for next year?
Somebody bring in the Cosmic Cube already, this arc can't end soon enough. And this was the best reality Reed and T'Challa could come up with?

That is a shockingly unimpressive plot twist for there to be all this spoiler fuss about.

Yikes. People are really freaking out. Personally, I'm interested in how this plays how. I think similar to Sam experiencing Cap-Wolf this is going to be Steve experiencing someone abusing a Cosmic Cube to attempt to alter his past and smear his good name.
LOL Man I dont know how I feel about this...
U just mad cuz I'm stylin' on ya'

Exactly. We're really supposed to believe that Steve Rogers has been Hydra from the very beginning and this is the best time ever to reveal that?
Sorry, not buying it.
It'll have something to do with the cosmic cube and the Skull. Don't forget that the Skull has been in a perfect DNA match for Steve for awhile now.
