Not touching this hot button topic with a ten foot pole but I chuckle when they always point out the actor seems open to the idea as if it wouldn't be career suicide and insta-bigot status to answer it any other way.

Chris Evans is very supportive of the gay community and wouldn't be viewed as a bigot for not supporting the idea of a Steve/Bucky relationship. And his comments weren't supportive of a Steve/Bucky relationship anyway.

It makes me laugh to see GLAAD jump on board this ludicrous idea. If you want a gay superhero then go create one and leave the classics alone.

NOPE! Have great characters who happen to be gay. Cap is a great character who happens to not be gay.

It's never going to happen. Period. GLAAD needs to butt out. They're fueling the false narrative that two straight men can't be good friends without some gay subtext to it.

I agree with you 100%. Maybe his comments do reflect his thought on the matter, but in all honesty there is no way to tell.

I blame the younger generations who don't have any common sense and look to the internet for all of the answers

Glad it's getting more traction, be nice if Marvel recognised their lack of LGBT representation in the movies and made this change.

Evans' comments were classic PR boilerplate that fail to represent an actual position on the issue either way, tailor made to avoid staking an actual position and thus avoiding offending anyone on either side. Which is, of course, the only smart way for him to respond.

There is no need to make changes. Just create something new and leave the straight characters alone

    Don't you mean "GLAAD it's getting more traction . . . "?
