Mercury seemed a popular choice in some threads I saw. I like that one too.

Since his costume is mainly red, maybe he'll go by the Scarlet Speedster?

Oh, mahgosh! I loved that story as a child. Sir Percy was among my first heroes along with Zorro and Robin Hood. (I could read those lines from the book in my head even before my eyes hit each letter.)

Anyway, Wall will always be 'Flash' to me. He was Flash in JLU, he was Flash in Terminal Velocity and every single comic book trade I read thereafter including Flash Rebirth. Btw, Jay Garrick is also Flash and Bart would have been also if he'd lasted longer than those few issues in the red suit.

I hope they just call him the Flash. As many Wally fans have already said, he earned the title and deserves it. He was THE Flash for 22 years and still has the best Flash stories of all time. His new look is distinct enough that no one will confuse him for Barry, having them share the name probably won't cause any problems. And Brett Booth said on Twitter that he's 99% sure that it will be his name anyway.

Future Flash is my favorite Flash design so far I liked the energy flowing from face and suit.

To me it all depended on the color Wally wore
Blue - Mercury
Green - Velocity
Yellow - Charge
Red - Accelerate

I prefer the Green and blue so those names obviously been in my mind for a while.

I could see that with the open cowl and the way his hair is drawn. That rock is used a lot in Booth's images I wonder if there's a personal story to it.

To me it is reminiscent of the rocks in the Wile E. Coyote/Roadrunner cartoons. I bet Booth was a big fan as a kid.

How about "Flash"? Hear me out... He has memories of being The Flash, knowledge of the speed force and powers. There are 3 guys called Superman, 3 guys called Joker, multiple people on earth called Green Lantern. He moves so fast that anyone he helps will just see a red blur will say "thanks Flash". Do you really think Wally will run back and say " no, it's Mercury!"
Marvel has 2 Hawkeyes, 2 Thors, 2 Captain Americas, 3 Hulks, I don't see a problem with 2 Flashes, besides when Jay comes back will he have to change his name too?
