I respect your opinion, but I'm not going to agree with it. I feel differently having read those stories when they came out. Sorry, but I saw Wally as being closer to Max. Not looking to argue about it; my experience reading it wasn't the same as yours.

I understand what you mean and I respect your opinion as well. I guess Impulse being one of the books that got me into DC comics it still holds a special meaning for me.

But, if they're serious about legacy, it HAS to be Flash. Given Barry's reaction, I can't really see him accepting any excuses from Wally for NOT continuing to call himself the Flash.
At least it's not the 90's, or we'd be stuck with something stupid like "BloodSpeed".

Besides, if you read what Geoff Johns said in his ComicVine interview... "you need a Flash on the forefront, it just feels natural to have a Flash on the forefront of change in the DC universe." - he's a Flash. Let's keep him that way!
