Shogo is a child she found & decided to keep. He's not her biological son but she's his mother by default because she loves him like a mother & is raising him.

I think a lot of people are surprised by that idea because most people remember Jubilee as being really young. So, an impulsive young woman getting pregnant by accident makes more sense to folks than single, (possibly) teenage adoptive mother. I always assume there were certain exceptions made for the two of them by the courts because of elements in both Jubilee's and Shogo's pasts.

However, one of the big things with Jubilee too is that she's kind of the X-Men's foster kid (I know the found family bit can apply to a lot of X-Men, but it's really strong with her) so it kind of feels like she's paying forward what the X-Men did for her. It keeps those themes strong.

Years ago Terry dated Jamie but it was revealed that Jamie was a dupe, and Jamie Prime never had any romantic feelings for Terry, and I don't see either lady dating him after they found out that he slept with them both on the same night through dupes and then tried to hide it, and I doubt that Terry was to interested in sex after she got pregnant...glad that whole storyline is over and done with and hopefully left in the past where it belongs...
