Fair point - but it does get a lot of hate from fans.

    JLA Act of God.
The criticism I’ve seen for this one is that it only makes Batman look good, but the very first thing that happens is Superman saving Metropolis from a dam about to burst.

Hopefully this counts, but my choice would be...

    Marvelman/Miracleman

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Very much enjoyed reading Liefeld's New Mutants/X-Force run, the Clone Saga and the Ultimatum mini.

The single worse story idea in the history of Marvel.
    Sins Past is second.

I liked most of Brand New Day.

I do also like plenty of stories where a hero falls or screws up (Green Lantern: Emerald Twilight, Heroes in Crisis, Infinite Crisis, Civil War)
    Sincerely,

I'll be honest and, perhaps this is obvious, say that there is not much I don't like. I probably like every controversial comic out there.

The majority won't be agreeable to it, but I truly enjoyed the artwork of...

The clone saga (yes, I mean the one where Ben Reily first appeared) Wonderful memories. The publication in my country that was two years or more behind of the American version was cease to exist at the time, and I bought the whole US clone saga run at once, and read it in one sitting (no just kidding, it took me a month or so. I don't know how many books it contains, it was four titles of Spider-Man)
Sins Past blew me away at the time.

I like controversial stuff. I don't like comics playing it safe

The "Act of God" in the story doesn't make any sense if you think too hard about it, but it's not supposed to.

I thought it was decent. I love superhero stories that Center around their ordinary lives.

Identity Crisis is another story where you think more about it, the plot starts to crumble, but I enjoyed how Meltzer tried to "humanize" superheroes in new ways. For all it's faults, Identity Crisis is probably better than his Justice League run, which has less "what the hell were you thinking moments" but is a pacing nightmare with every subplot it sets up ultimately going nowhere.
