Default So DC finally has a "Microverse" spoilers Rebirth

if you read Rebirth you will find out that Ray Palmer discovered the "Microverse"

however in the Marvel Universe, Hank Pym discovered the microverse in like the 70s..

however, I'm excited to see what DC will do with their own microverse, since it seems to be a new thing they are introducing

Sliding timescale means Pym discovered it less than 15 years ago.

Marvel will probably rename their microverse Quantum Realm to match their movies at some point.

What does the Microverse even mean? I just thought that it meant the disruption that occurred between both timelines.

    I think it's a go-to phrase for a subatomic dimension .

I think its "beyond sub-atomic" at least the Marvel one is, and I assume DC will have it be the same thing, or at least very similar

So it's basically something that's totally different than what's occurring in the DCU Rebirth from what Wally was referring to? If so, hopefully things like those kind of concepts gets explored further in the DCU.

Microverse is a subatomic dimension in the Marvel comics and possibly the DC comics.

Mark Waid said with advances of scientific study into quantum mechanics over the last 50 years there are really interesting things that can be done with shrinking characters like Ant-Man and Atom.

Excuse my lack of knowledge here but wasn't Sword of the Atom set in a Microverse type setting then? I never read it but I always got the impression it was that sort of thing.

No, Atom was stuck at 6-inch size, lost in the Amazon jungle, interacting with stranded aliens who just happened to also be that size.
