I'm opting out of this event. House of M and Avengers vs. X-Men were awful: I have no interest in reading another overly verbose Bendis mini-series

Certain Side Stories and Tie-ins I care about. The main story not really.

Event fatigue (we're barely out of Pleasant Hill!).

People tired of hero vs. hero plots.

The obvious synergy with the movie.

Ripping off the plot of Minority Report.

    The FCBD issue.

All the problems with issue #1.

    The character deaths.

The ham-fisted way they're going about setting up a conflict between the heroes.

Take your pick and you'll find reasons why not a lot of people are jazzed for Civil War II.

There are still people who haven't forgiven Iron Man. Love it or hate it, it had a profound effect on Marvel and it's fans.

Is it event fatigue? Have lackluster events like Original Sin and AXIS soured people on yet another Marvel event? Is it too soon after Secret Wars?

Have all the reboots, resets, rebrandings, and relaunches made it difficult to collectively get excited for a comic? Are there just less of us as comic readers in general?

Or maybe people are genuinely excited for this story and I just never noticed. Doesn't seem that way though. The response to this event seems to be a collective shrug or groan.
Am I interested? That'll be a big fat NOPE.

Interested because of the upcoming Iron Man vs New Attilan War, Wolverine meeting Old Man Logan, AIM vs SHIELD, Nick Fury Jr and Team Tony in action, what Bruce has been up to in the 8 months and who dies in Civil War #3.

There are a few characters I care about, but that's it. Not interested enough to get the main book.

I care that some characters might die.

And I care that it might effect books I read, but that's it.

I plan to buy the main book and some tie- ins but I can not say I'm really excited.

After AvX, Axis and Time Runs Out fights between heroes no longer has the same impact and SW ended only a few months ago.

The X-men are involved in it this time so it has peaked my interest some. I am looking forward to the X-men tie-in and the Squadron Supreme vs Thunderbolts Tie-in.

I don't even get these events Marvel is doing lately, this and the thing in the town with the girl don't even feel like they're events. I wasn't even really reading comics much when Civil War, Secret Invasion, and all those things were going on, but you can bet your ass I was hearing about them, and hearing about them before they came out. Those seemed like huge things. But this and the last thing, I didn't really hear anything about. I was actually kind of surprised to find both this and the last thing were even events.

Honestly the Inhuman shilling in #1 really turned me off. Dropped.
