That's noir at its finest, not only in the low-key lighting, but also in the hopelessness in that image. There's a lot of pain and loss in film noir (at least in the ones I like best)

Attila Kiss for that fine Glenn Orbik cover, another wonderful artist we lost too soon.

I considered the Wally Wood cover from seismic 2, but that was the third cover he posted, and rules are rules.

Greg Hatcher with the best exploration of the convoluted tale of Donna Troy.

I hadn't noticed seismic-2 had posted multiple entries. I have changed my vote.

Very difficult choice... especially with covers like the one CaptCleghorn has posted... But I'll go for Tami, love the cover, love the blue, and if the "noir" is only hinted, I can feel it in the eyes of so many characters...

Tough to pick just one. I'm torn between Darknight Detective, Paradox, the Wally Wood find by seismic and Shalla Bal's cool vintage cover from one of those pulp/crime magazines of the era. They embody many of the noir elements....the "dame", the private eye, wafts of cigarette smoke, and criminal activity . But I will go with Doughy Man's Fatale cover.

Tough one this time. Going with foxley, though there were several more I wanted to vote for.
