    Default Power Girl Appreciation 2024

    It seems to me that DC is having some issues treating PG and SG as distinct characters. Hopefully this is rectified this year. PG deserves it.

    I love this pairing so much. I hope some variant of it will be featured in any upcoming live-action movie about Val, assuming that is still on the table.

    I hated it with a passion; it's just like most everything else they've done with PG in the past twenty years or so, just tacked on there with no build-up, and no thought. Now for example they're still on the "PG needs a bestest buddy, and we will give you someone with absolutely no history with PG as that buddy".

    When I think of what PG needs as a character, a random best friend or a random love interest is just about dead last on my list.

    Ah, to each their own. I love the two together and I see them more as crimefighting partners rather than superhero/love interest a la Lois Lane or Mary Jane.
