The Superman books continue to do very well, especially Superman.

I also noticed DC Rebirth #1 still on page 3. I haven't been keeping track of its minimum sales, but based on its performance, it has to be well over 100, 000 digital copies by now.

New Super-Man #1 is at 8, Superman #2 is at 15 and Superman #3 is at 18. ACTION COMICS #959 is at 27, and ACTION COMICS #960 is at 33.

The estimated numbers haven't been released yet, but based on both Superman issues outselling Star Wars, I think they should be in the 90, 000 range at the very least.

The reprints of Flash Rebirth #1, and Batman #1 make the top 100 too. The reprints for Superman should appear somewhere in the Top 300.

The print sales performance goes back to something I said before Rebirth launched, which was that while I don't like either Tomasi or Jurgens, they will bring stability to the Superman books.

And that's what's happened here.

Neither the total print sales of Superman Rebirth #1 or Superman #1 are higher than New 52 Superman #1's total sales, but issue #2 and #3 have sold more than issue #2 of New 52 Superman.

People like what they read in Tomasi's Superman, unlike George Perez's Superman, which had dropped to 77,747 by issue #3. Rebirth is way better planned than the New 52 Superman launch.

I'm glad to see the Superman books doing so well in print.

It is nice to see, even if Im not reading most of the titles currently. Though I still question how sales will look in five months. Better than Truth to be sure, but will they still top pre-Doomed numbers? Despite my not caring for Superdad's introduction I hope so. I want Superman to do well regardless of my personal preferences.

And I agree with Ina that the Rebirth was much better planned than the 52, but that's not news to anyone. We all know the 52 was rushed by outside forces and DC wasn't able to get their ducks in a row. Rebirth has had the benefit of proper planning, even if the Super-line has become a convoluted mess in the process.

Yeah, I don't like how things were handled there either and I'm someone who is enjoying the new direction. I've been through the same to often to not sympathize with Nuperman fans on this. Still it is nice to see these numbers and I really hope Superman continues to do well.

I definitely agree that Rebirth is better planned then the N52 ever was and I'm glad to see that to be honest after the mess the N52 turned out to be. I think in the end the entire line might come out the stronger for it and that includes the Superman line. It seems to me that they are trying, with this universe wide mystery, to make all titles have significance so that they all in effect "matter". If that is the case then that could mean that even the lowest seller might pull decent numbers. Of course that just speculation on my part.
