No matter how many reboots, new origins, reinterpretations or suit redesigns. In the end, he will always be SUPERMAN

That's to be expected. Batman sells better than Superman regularly, and has for many years now. No reason these milestones should be any different.
"We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another, as if we were one single tribe."

https://www.bleedingcool.com/2019/05...igital-comics/And what’s also odd is the best selling comic in stores this week isn’t on the digital sales charts. DC’s Year of the Villain, much like DC Nation #0 a year ago, is being sold in stores for a quarter. But it’s completely free on Comixology (6 Comments). The sales chart doesn’t track freebies, unfortunately. (That’ll teach you to be consumer friendly, DC. You should’ve taken the Marvel approach and sold it for $5.99 with a “Prelude” in the title).

The common refrain has been that digital sales don't matter, but this from Comichron's year end analysis really seems make that difficult to understand. Digital accounts for $100,000,000 to floppies $360,000,000. That's a pretty significant chunk.

what's the difference between graphic novels and comicbooks?
There aren't that many digital first or digital only comics so I'd be really shocked if they made up any significant fraction of that total. Just looking at Comixology, their best sellers and top books are always Marvel, DC, Image, etc. Plus, the publishers also get a cut of digital back issue purchases. I would have to imagine like anything else, the bulk of digital sales are the new releases, with a smaller fraction being back issues or collections. So if digital sales are 1/3 of print, that could be upwards of 30,000 extra sales for a 100k seller or something like 15,000 for Superman or Action. The costs for digital new releases are the same as print. With none of the after-creation overhead.
The only significant detail that I could see having an impact is if the TPB's sold digitally are counted towards digital.
I believe the distinction here is TPB's and other books. So something like the new Super Son's and Mera books or your standard TPB collection of a storyline.
