I always likened her "lightning change" to that of Wonder Woman's spin. In that the visual change from civvies to costume is something that is quite unique to both of them.

Hey, someone at Marvel actually remembers that Storm is supposed to be a skilled hand to hand fighter, cool. I feel like most writers have forgotten that over the last few years (they also forget that Kitty is supposed to be a world-class martial artist as well). Oh and could someone please explain to me how the clothing-change thing works? It looks cool to be sure, I'm just curious as to how the specifics work.

The molecules wardrobe change gave me nostalgia, The hurricanes gave me bad ass

but i love seeing Storm physically brawl. Using that guy as a shield was so tight.
