    I think the public image of the great patriarch here to promote the american way is undeniably tied to white supremacy BUT that hasn't always been superman and I think there is a better argument for him being a critique of white supremacy and a fighter of the oppressed than the other way around even in bvs he very much paralleled the issues of immigration in such a way that critiqued white supremacist/nationalist ideas as he was the one who embodies humanity and the jaded fearful batman learned from. You probably have a better case making this argument with batman either way tho this reads like reactionary with very little insight into the character she's critiquing and ultimately offers nothing at least nothing that probably hasn't been said before by better writers

    I think there's probably a deeper dialogue you could have about Superman and "passing for white" but it's a hard fit for a topic in a monthly adventure strip and would work better in a prestige format, mature readers book, probably with input from actual creators of color.
