    Ooops!

I meant to include the link (http://comicsalliance.com/a-brief-hi...ht-and-squire/), but forgot to.

After Knight and Squire, the next to appear was Wingman in Batman #65 (June-July 1951).

You can see the full story here: http://acespot1.blogspot.com/2007/10/batman-65.html

While he also was not originally included in the Batmen of All Nations / Club of Heroes, he was retconned into a member post-CoIE by Roy Thomas (in Infinity Inc. #34 and Secret Origins #27 in the 1980s).

Then in 2007, Grant Morrison brought the character back with a more . . . sinister background, as well as a costume to match.

That version didn't last beyond the three-issue story in Batman #667-#669, but a new person took on the costume and code-name in the pages of Batman Incorporated.

When will we see them again? When Sheldrake gets his corpse dug up and brought back to life and Beryl downgrades from the Knight back into Squire.

The one thing I didn't like is that Morrison killed off so many characters for that story . . .

He killed three, yes? All three of which hadn't been used in how many decades? And replaced two of them with legacies within a couple years.

How are two superheroes who hadn't been used in forever and one might-as-well-be-nameless rich guy "so many"?

That really hurt. Built-in resurrections, still, but that's a hard scene to read.

And, I'm kinda disappointed Beryl's grieving pages will be redrawn, because they're just gold as is.

The pinch-hitter pages from Volume 2/Leviathan will all get redrawn for the big oversized, overpriced version. With many of those pages, I'm fine with that. There are some stinkers.

But the pages where Beryl's on the sofa and there she first announces herself as Knight look great. I can believe Chris's will be just as good, but better? I dunno.
