I guess it's just the oldschool MK fan talking. I've been playing MK for 20 years and when they mostly covered the females like that in MKX it just felt like something was "off". Mortal Kombat has always been the antithesis of political correctness in every way imaginable. I don't feel the need to see scantly clad women in video games but it's MK and to cover Mileena up just feels weird, man. Though I do have to admit they probably went way too far in MK9 with her secret costume. lol

It is a bit silly to make a big deal out of sexuality in a game centered around decapitating and eviscerating people in the most graphic ways imaginable. Fortunately people don't seem too bothered by any of the Injustice 2 designs, so I guess we're starting to move away from the "sex is worse than violence" mindset.

Power Girl sounds familiar but I can't place it. Does sound like an older version of Kara though.

So that's really him doing the voice for John. I didn't want to believe it at first, considering it's too good to be true when I watched the gameplay. This is awesome. I might get the game day one.

I edited this post after watching storymode (last chapter). Man is storymode epic!!!! It deserves the big screen treatment but man are there going to be some pissed off fanbases!!

The Regime vs Insurgency is very much alive!! Also there are two different endings depending on who you side with, Superman or Batman! Superman fans are undoubtedly going to be pissed with both endings. Wonder Woman fans likely won't be happy with her portrayal either. Swamp Thing, Atrocitus and the Society only exist to take the L's but ill admit it was fun seeing the heroes take on their foes (ie WW vs Cheetah, Flash vs Zoom, GL vs Atrocitus, Batman vs Bane). The Blue Beetle and Firestorm chapter was easily my favorite simply based on the two characters bromance and cool powersets!

I pre-ordered/downloaded the Ultimate Edition, so I'm good to go on Tuesday. I'm literally not gonna do anything but play this game all day and mix it up between story mode and online matches. Kick some ass with Barry and Thawne, then move on to other characters.

Yeah, I'm surprised they went with that accent, and not in a good way.

Maybe adding the dome on Freeze wouldn't have worked because many of the super move animations involve the character getting hit directly in the face. They would have to explain why the opponent is phasing through the glass or if they break it, why it's intact after the animation is over.

Alright, this has to be the most obscure allusion in the game. This shows most of Fate's shaders. Among them is a Dr. Chaos shader, alluding to this guy, who had one appearance in the second Superboy series in the 80s. I was going through those shaders hoping there'd be one- if just because Fate has so little recolor potential- and NS didn't dissapoint.
