This is the nicest I've seen Finch's artwork look in a long time. Very curious about King on this book, I quite liked his surly sounding Gordon.

I personally didn't like Finch's artwork in Forever Evil, but his artwork here looks better.

I don't know...Jim sounded kind of off to me here. Not sure if it's the tone of voice or the dialogue.

    Liked the preview otherwise .

Honestly, while I think Tom King is a great writer, I just don't think his Batman book will be as interesting/entertaining to me as Tynion's Detective Comics. And i've never been a big fan of Finch's art. That said though i'll probably stick around for the first 3-4 issues at least to see if it can grab me or not.

Be curious to see why Batman is calling Duke, out of all the family.

    Some nice page composition there.

How is DC still able to sell their books at 2.99 but Marvel can't?

Because Duke is his partner in this book (rather than the team he has in Tec). It would make too much sense for him to have the same partners across all of his books.

    Duke, Duke, Duke Duke DukeDukeDukedukedukedukeduke...
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

So Duke is playing both partner and mission control to Bruce
I like how Batman wanted the JL to help with this
I assume the new hero gotham will show up and save the day

I admire Finch as an artist and would love to have his talent but his style seems a little too 90's Image Comics for me and in his Wonder Woman, everyone looked too similar. However this preview does look damn impressive and I hope he can keep up the diversity with his style.
