The Black Panther, Shuri and Wakanda continue to wage their secret war against the Avengers! The Sphinx controls much of Africa and Wakanda is the only free nation remaining! T'Challa has formed a team, The Dark Avengers to take down the Sphinx and free all of Africa from under his thumb. It is a dangerous game they play for if the Avengers found out that one of their own has betrayed them, could even Wakanda survive the wrath of the gods? And there is one particular member that T'Challa must be extremely careful with! Iron Man(Doom) has come to visit the Black Panther to discuss the disturbances happening across the continent. Although Doom has no love for the Sphinx, he is a fellow Avenger and a sovereign with the right to rule as he pleases. So he comes to determine if T'Challa has any idea of who may be behind the assaults against the Sphinx. The Panther denies any knowledge but in his mind, Doom knows that his friend is far more involved than he lets on. So Doom prepares to depart but he leaves with a warning: those guilty of assault against an Avenger will be dealt with extreme prejudice! As they watch him vanish into the night air, Shuri tells her brother that while his team can handle the Sphinx, they will are no match for Doom and the rest of the Avengers. The Panther turns to Shuri and says that the Dark Avengers were created to defeat the Sphinx. Until one night when during a rally for Mayor – the only candidate Ricky Moors is gunned down by an enemy from the past. Bucky and Jack decide to act on this information as Steve and his new ally at school, a new mutant named Miles Taylor, attempt to uncover what The Five have planned for the rest of the human kids, who are slowly turning into mindless drones. However, The Five make the first move, using the kids to turn a planned march celebrating their town into a display of their new power.
And throughout it all, Captain America chases the newly-awakened former HYDRA assassin The Crimson Mark, who seems to have a similar fighting skillset to Bucky. And Bucky soon reveals that Rebecca Holt was more than just an ally during his time as The Winter Soldier - she was his mentor!

That means he still has business on Earth, and I think I know what it is. "Detroit Steel" Sasha Hammer is in her third trimester and carrying Starscream's Decepti-kid in her very distended belly. This is the first ever hybrid between our races, and someone out in the universe must be willing to pay big bucks (or credits? Is that the accepted space currency?) to get their hands on the not-so-happy family. As a matter of professional pride, I can't let that happen. But Sasha left my team and joined Juggernaut's Unstoppable Thunderbolts a few issues ago. Soooooo it's going to be just super awkward to do a team-up with them right now... but drama sells, right?

In his future, a fascist regime – the Volgans - takes over a post-Putin, post-Rasputin Russia and starts a devastating world war that results in the planet's population centers shifting towards mega-cities. The first blitz is the Volgan's “Eight Hour War,” where the United Kingdom is demolished and enslaved in that brief amount of time. Sharp went by "Shogun" when he wore the mask and constantly heard Ogun's whispers in his mind, though he was uniquely able to resist them (most of the time). Snake Eyes, Raphael, and Wolverine must now track down this Sharp and convince him, one way or the other, to reassume the burden of hosting Ogun in order to protect the world from his otherwise unchecked evil – a task much easier said than done!

Jimmy Woo and Midnight have no choice but to team up with their prisoner Afro Samurai when ATLAS is attacked by assassins! The cold war era group known as The Beast, a HYDRA rival, has awakened and they have a score to settle with Afro Samurai - and they don't care who they kill to do it! ATLAS has barely recovered from a devastating attack by HYDRA, so director Jimmy Woo has no intentions of letting it fall again. A secretly formed a partnership with the Templar Knights of Assassin's Creed have a Knights team arriving in the nick of time!. With their help, most of the agents of the Beast are killed while the rest are forced to retreat. The Knights have also uncovered information that former ATLAS Director Peter Gyrich was a sleeper agent for HYDRA. The Beast learned this and sent Afro Samurai to eliminate Gyrich and deliver a mortal blow to their enemies at HYDRA. Ultimately, The Beast learned of a betrayal by Samurai decades ago and sent agents to ATLAS to kill him! After hearing all of this, Woo decides to drop charges against Afro Samurai and lets him go. Why are they sat on a giant spinning out of control bullet following a zombie-mad-Nazi-super-scientist through a portal to a realm of super crazy and very pissed off Kaiju sized God-Monsters that want humanity back as their convenient bite sized snacks? Listen if we examine every little detail this just falls apart, let's just pretend that there was no alcohol involved, no bucket of custard or rubber gloves and pretend that everyone on the rocket, sorry, bullet is a gawd-damned hero!
